Main relay? Fuel Pump? Fuel Filter? Car turns but won't start...
92 Civic LX stock engine
Tested:
-Spark plug sparks when removed and inserted back into coil
-Can hear fuel pump when key switched to "on"
So I've narrowed it down to either main relay or fuel filter. Now in the manual book I noticed that they say "check for continuity", I know this sounds stupid but how exactly would I test for that? I took a screen pic of what I am talking about...

Also would the fuel pump still malfunction even though I can slightly hear it? Any help would nice guys

crack the dampener nut on the fule rail loose and put the key in the 2nd ON position.. if fuel comes out, you're cool. probably an injector or ecu problem.
if fuel doesn't come out, loosen the line from the hard line/feed line from the tank to the fuel filter. if there's no fuel there.. it's a fuel pump problem.

If you think it is fuel get some carb clean and take off the intake spray some down and see if it runs then kill it. (not good to run it long on carb clean) If it runs off that then you have a fuel problem. If not you could get spark but it might be to strong enough.

You need an ohmmeter to check continuity. It will tell you if the electricity has a path the follow. If the circuit is open (no continuity) the meter will read infinite resistance.

I know nothing of wiring and electronics
Thanks for the other reply guys. Ill take the suggestion of checking the fuel lines. Would there be a chance that the fuel lines froze since it was snowing here few days ago? It's like 40 degrees now though so not sure if that makes a difference or not

Yes, remove the main relay and check the plug that connects to it.

I highly doubt it. 30's are common here and i didn't have problems when it was in the 20's
Try Mike K's advice and loosen the dampener nut to see.

if your getting fuel and spark , check for compression . what did you reciently do to the car to make it not start? any CEL's?
i reciently had a problem where the car just shut off on the freeway , couldnt figure it out , turned out to be my ecu had taken a ****.

Not sure whats going on. And yeah ill check with Mike K's advice tommroow morning after getting home from the bus from school
