is the ITR 2001 OBDII Speed limited

I went a little over 145mph one time and still had more rpm to go, but it didn't ( drag limited I guess)
In what manner did it have "more rpm to go" ?
Peak power in a stock(ish) R is around 8000-8200 rpm.
And, the stock tach reads about 400 rpm high at near full deflection.
I've had it up to at least 7500 in 5th, never hit the revlimiter/fuel cut off in 5th yet.
is that 147 and 162 indicated? If so, it was probably 6-10 mph slower than what you read on the speedo. Now a GPS is a different story...
Honda Guages are so inaccurate at high speeds lol even at 70 there off about 5 miles per hour lol with 17" wheels lol the gauge becomes more accurate lol great tuning there

Now why do I not find that hard to believe?

Mugen's ECU is supposed to have a 9100 RPM limiter (160 mph)
I just got back from a nice quick freeway run ... and started thinking about more rear wing!

I really enjoyed this post. Hey, I have a GPS in my car, specifically a Magellan on a Handspring Visor. It is extremely accurate and does work pretty closely to the stock speedo but a hell of a lot more accurate.
158 MPh, 5th Gear, VTEC Going...still had more to go...
