Default P72 block..

Has anyone else got a P72 block...

is this something special or should I sell it?
it's identical to a B18Cx but it's stamped P72 instead.

FF-b cruz, im gonna have to say thats a restamp too, unless u can produce another picture of a p72 block. i looked on a honda website for engine block codes and they dont list a p72 block, only the p72 head that was mentioned before. i dont know what your talking about with the japanese R blocks, they arent stamped p72.

...Skeeter

I never said all the other blocks came stamped with a p72 there. I don't know if you have ever seen a JDM B18C(type-R) block before but the block numbers aren't lined up.

Most likely this isn't a block out of a production car but this could have been a block used by a japanese tuning company for testing..

also could you post up a link of that 'honda website for engine block codes'.

edit: notice the original thread creator is from London. I doubt the block is a stolen 're-stamp'

Thats wierd, but it does look like they ecthed out the B18C and etched in the P72.

If its not....uhm.....cool.
