Maintenance Required in 99/00 DX
how many colors are there to it? because right now its like half yellow and half green? is there a way to check what needs to be taken care of?

Yup, I just made a post about this a few days ago. It doesn't matter if you do your own maintenance, its just there like a trip meter.

if you do the maintance your self there is a way to reset the light look in your manual. my friends 04 civic had the light on for ever, her dad did the work him self but didn't know how to turn it off. but i read in her manual about it and it said turn car off, press and hold trip reset button in gauge area, then turn jey to on postion but do not turn car on and wait till light goes off and then it is done and will come on when your maintance is needed again.
On the 99-00's there's a button in the middle of the cluster that you have to press. Just stick your key in there and it turns back to green.
It's funny that this info is covered in the Owner's manual, but the question pops up ALL the time.

The reason it pops up is because a lot of people don't have owners manuals, like myself. But you are correct just stick your key or something similar to it, in the slot on your instrument cluster.
