oh my god, you'll be lucky if you don't get banned....

This has been covered time and TIME again. I see you are a new user and probably arent familiar with the search option on this site (click the little link that reads "search" on the upper right hand corner of this page)

A friend of mine tried the h22 head swap. 6 months later he gave up because it started costing more than an engine swap and he had many difficulties with oil leaks, wiring, fitment... everything is difficult to do but it IS possible.

The f22b is a dohc prelude engine... It came in the Si's. He may have that with a h22 head, I dont know how much different that head swap would be from the h22/f22b1 (which I thought you were talking about)...
Are you asking this just to prove him wrong, or do you plan on doing the swap.

i would like to do the swap myself. i have a 97 acura cl which is basically the same engine and almost everything as an accord and im trying to get feedback from people to see if it is possible to do the swap of heads either the h22 head or the dohc f22 head that you were talking about. what years did the dohc f22 come on the preludes?

or would it be easier to instead of trying to do any sort of swap just build up my f22 and then eventually buy a turbo kit for it?

92-96, dont quote me on that though.
When speaking of engine codes, you have to be more precise because and "f22" can be found in a handful of cars. If you are looking for ease, I'd go with the f22b, because its non v-tec and therefor you wouldn't have to tap the block for oil feeds, make a v-tec sub-harness (if you dont already have v-tec) etc... I dont know much about the swaps but thats just coming from experience. If the f22b swap is possible, it would be only a 15hp gain... the h22 is 55-65hp, both depending on application. A lot of people here have posted better information that you can find with a little searching though

It looks to me you need to stop bashing people when you dont know ****. In japan they sold a dohc f22b. It is very similar to a usdm h23.
