Any reason to NOT use all OEM seals/gaskets in head rebuild?
If there isnt any good reason, great, because I can replace all the dowels in the head, head gasket, intake mani gasket, throttle body gasket, timing belt, cam oil seal, spark plug seals, valve seals, valve cover gasket, etc, for all about $150 or a little less from Majestic Hondas online ordering. Having head decked, port and polish and valve job, and the compression will be bumped a tiny bit, but nothing major.
If this is all fine, I just saved 15% or more by switching to Geico! But really, that would be awesome cause I was expecting to be spending 200-300 dollars on aftermarket gaskets and seals, but appears the OEM Honda parts are much cheaper.

Yes, Majestic is a dealership out in.......RI? Boston? I cant remember, its in New England somewhere. And civictildeath, thats what Im thinking, they wouldnt have used them in the first place if they werent any good.
Just wasnt sure if performance/durability wise it would make sense to go aftermarket for any of these parts?
