hey all, ok heres the deal.

a H23a1 tranny on a H23a1 motor = 60 mph in 5th gear @ 3000 rpms

i thought if i get a H22 tranny, since the gears are shorter i would be at a higher RPM if i put it on the h23a1, i didnt want that due to gas mileage.

i now saw at my friends house that he is a 2200 RPMS on his F22 motor with a H22 tranny.

Now would that be right??

Any H23s with H22 trannys in here?

What rpms are u guys at at 60 mph, cause if its lower then 3gs, that be incredible.

Fast acceleration and low cruising rpms.

i have one on my h22 i can barely tell the difference. except 5th gear at 4000 rpm you'll be doing 80mph which sucks ****. thats too high for long trips on s big engine
