Squeaking Sound when i turn the Wheels
It does it only when I turn the steering wheel, and it sounds even worse when i make a whole turn. It started around 4 days ago. I jacked the car up and took the wheels off and decided to take a look under the car to see where the sound is coming from, while a friend turned the wheel. I have come to the conclusion that the sound is coming from the passenger side boot, from the steering rack (see pic). My qustion is, Can i replace just the boot? Why would it squeak? What else could it be?? Thanks in advance Its a 91 Integra
is it coming from the engine bay or from one side of the car..i had a squeaking noise when turning full lock when parking etc, it turned out that the balljoint on the upper control arm was done and needed replacing
mine 94 used to do that 2. only on turns it would make a lound screeching noise. I pulled the tire off and noticed that the brake disc was rubbing on the dust shield. I bent it out and never had a problem since then. hope the new boot will work for ya.
