O2 SENSOR WIRING
I HAVE A 99 CIVIC COUPE AN I GOT HEADERS AN I NEED TO EXTEND THE O2 SENSOR... MY QUESTION IS DO I NEED ANY SPECIFIC WIRE GAUGE TO EXTEND IT OR WILL ANY WIRE WORK??? I I LOST ALOT OF GAS MILEAGE AN MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON... IM ALSO WONDERING IF THAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM... THANNKS

You can use a 12-14 gauge wiring all the way around, and just extend the wires, no need for any special resistors or anything. Make sure to insulate the wires very well and cut them to good fit. Also, as you were suspecting, the O2 sensor will save you on your Gas Mileage. I currently have mine off and my motor runs superiorly rich w/ about 15mpg

Now that i done that my check engine light turns on after i drive it for a while. i heard that it could be because of the hi flow cat i have but im not to sure. please let me know.
