Default I think the seafoam hurt me?

I ran regular seafoam and it was fine. Car smoked of course but ran better than before no problems. Then I did the deep creep.... I followed the instructions ran motor to operating temperature. removed intake. Sprayed directly onto throttle body and into intake manifold. Cleaned throttle body with a brush. I started the car and it hesitated to crank. Then it backfired through the manifold. It started and ran a while. But now when I drive it my idle has changed from about 800-900 rpm to 1500 rpm. When I first crank it it bounces from 1000-to 1500rpm. Could that backfire have messed up my IACV? Are these the smyptoms of a bad IACV.

Other than the idle problem my car feels better. More responsive and peppy. btw. I've changed the spark plugs with oem and changed the oil of course. Thanks for any help.

Cliff's Ran "Deep Creep"
Car backfired through Intake
Now car idles 1000-1500 and bounces
Did backfire and deepcreep mess up my IACV?

Did you knock a vacuum line loose while playing around with the TB/intake mani?

sounds kind of like a iacv but i would check with the easy and cheap stuff first, like the vacum line.

Thats what i thought it could be but the only line i took off was the brake booster. I reattached it and its tight on there. All other lines are tight.

So I guess you'll be taking off your IACV and cleaning it out this afternoon then.

I'll do that right now. Should I use the deep creep? Or some carb cleaner?
