Default Thieves try coming into my home/garage?

dont know if im paranoid but im pretty sure someone was in my garage trying to take something or come inside?
as i drove home tonight i pulled into the street where my house is and turned off my headlights (i usually dont but i just randomly did) and across the street a civic peels out and leaves (maybe panicked?) but that caught my guard. i go inside put the boot on, take out the garage opener, lock the car and lock side door and put a chair under it, just to be on the safe side. a hour later i decided to watch a movie and around 1:55 - 2am all the power/lights turned off for a few seconds than turned back on, i was watching the movie near the garage, as my heart was panicking i hear the door open but possibly he closed and left because he might have seen me thru the mirrors/reflection? as im still frozen for a minute or 2 i hear a car leave, i alert my parents. i go into the garage, the garage light is on (it was off for sure) the chair to block the door was off! and my door **** was loose. i call the electric company asking if there were any quick power outages and they said no.

not for long... some of them are getting despret for the R parts, and are more willing to steal from a garage

Layers of security is best way.

They have marked your caR, You need to do two things quick.

Take your car and move it out of the area and call the cops.

By moving the car when there is no one watching will allow you to put a car cover on the other car in the garage and by telling the cops, you might have a caring officer that could help you out and watch your house for a little while.

Or just have the ***** to confront them with a shotgun, just be sure to tell the cops after you shoot them that they came after you and you feared for your life.

NOW what you should have done was not go home that night and continued to drive around while leading them to the local PD .

They apparently have followed you before, how else would they have known to wait there for you.

good luck.

if you don't do something, the chances are high that something is going to happen.

You should have chased the Civic in front of your house that dipped out when you got home. Follow them home and steal it

or you can install a $20 motion detector on your garage door and it will sound a wireless reciever.. that way if anyone walks up you will know someone is outside..

you can also remove the main relay so theres no way they can start the car.i call this the "factory kill switch" and your alarm will still work. along with the boot if you cant hear the tow truck picking up your car, then something is really wrong...

good luck i would keep it.

Set up a camera in the garage with digital recorder hidden somewhere in the house. That's what it has come down to.
