wheel fitment question?!?!?!?!?
i'm interested in picking up a set of wheels for my 02' s2000. but i'm not too sure if the wheels will fit on my car.
the dimension on the wheels are 17x8 +45, 17x9 +45.
will wheels with these dimensions fit on my s2000?!?!?
also, if they do fit, will it rub?

the front should be ok.. but the rears will rub if you're lowered.... but then again you could roll your fenders and you should be ok.... just make sure you get the right sized tires....
can anyone else shed some knowledge/opinions on the wheel fitment?
do you think by rolling the fenders on the rear, the wheels would fit fine?

Acutally, according to the newest S2000 Hyper Rev Volume 97 No. 3, The Power House Amuse car runs Volk Racing CE28n 17x9 +63 front and 17x9 +40 rear. Along with Bridgestone Potenza RE01R 255/40-17 front and rear. To me, those offsets sound backwards, but what do I know.
Opera performance runs Enkie RPF1 17x9 +45 with Yokohama AO48 235/45-17 on all four corners. Thheir car is pretty low with no visible gap. No word as to fender rolling or rubbing issues though.
oh and if you do happen to rub depending on your degree of drop and camber and toe and yada yada... it'll be very slight and only on really harsh bumps...
for all the trouble you will have, i'd look for some other wheels. roll fenders, worry about bumps, alignment. it might turn into a real PITA

Not true I have 255's, rolled fenders, -2 camber and full coilovers and I still rub a bit on large bumps at high speeds.
Bad offset is bad offset.
