Default Should I use the stock bump stops? (with Spoon N1s)

OK, when I got my Spoon N1s, they didn't come with bump stops. While we where installing them, quick6 suggested that we use the stock bump stops, but I was too lazy to go back to my place and get them, so we installed the Spoons without bump stops.

But now that I've read some literature on google, seems to me like maybe we should've used the stock ones?

On the one hand, I'm thinking, if the Spoons came without them, and knowing Spoon as a top notch company, I'm sure they didn't omit this for no reason. I guess it's possible that Spoon doesn't think using bump stops is necessary with this suspension?

On the other hand, everything I read suggests that using bump stops is very important with coilovers, since it'll prevent the suspension from bottoming out, and also prevent any damage to shocks from metal-to-metal contact.

But I also read some info on dangers of using bump stops, so I'm not sure what to do now.

Any ideas?

it's a pretty good idea to use them. saves some of the risk of damage.

Any chance you could post pics? Or, can you tell me the correct height? Is it same as stock? Would we have to cut the stock ones?

I dont have any pictures right now, but they definitely werent cut, the look just like OE ones to me. What do you mean height? Do you mean the size/depth of the bump stop?
