Default help Wong with sticker outline removal

well, I searched and I took honda tech's advice and used goo gone to take the word "civic" off of my ek, however, there is a outline of the word still left on the car. Is there any way to get that off, or am i stuck with it? lol.... Thanks in advance

Maybe in my old age my eyes are failing me but is that blue or black? If it is black maybe you should try just touching it up with a sharpie lol

Rubbing compound first then buff/wax/polish. It'll come out.

Should buff out. After taking my stickers off I used a little wd40 to rub off a lot, and it slowly just faded away on its own..

Gets messy but WD40 does work, and didn't screw up MY paint.

Maybe I'm seeing things, but are you asking about sticker residue or are you asking about the fact that the part where the sticker used to be is darker than the rest of the paint around it.
If it's the latter you're kinda SOL since the pain that wasn't covered by the sticker faded over time while the paint under the sticker was protected from the sun by the sticker itself. No wax or rubbing compound is going to make that paint blend in.
If it's just sticky residue you're talking about then you can fix that with WD40. **** is awesome. Takes anything and everything off.

Hair dryer to get them warmed up a bit then peel 'em off.

actually I thought the previous posts knew that I was talking about the paint being darker than around the car. Im not talking bout the sticker residue because i got it all off with goo gone. hmmm...so i guess im kind of stuck then huh?

I knew what he was talking about... and you CAN fix it. My friend took the emblems off his red Z24 and they left the same spots. I used some turtle wax rubbing compound and treated the area, and it greatly reduced the spots.
