Aright I have an 84 crx 1500 5 speed and I was wondering how difficult an H22 swap would be in it? Would it be a lot harder than in the newer crxs or similar? And how much harder would it be if the h22 was turbo? Also does anyone have some 1/4 mile times here for h22 crx's either non-turbo or turbo?

 

your better off putting a B series motor in ur car, hasport make mounts for it.

 

I was also wondering about some of the other honda engines in general. Are the 98+ accord engines worthless? It seems you could easily get one for 500 bucks. Are they not good for mods? And could that be put in a crx?

accord=fseries or v6 and are just as hard to do as the h22 i dont see any way a v6 could be put in without extensive fabrication

 

Not worth doing the price to put a h22 in a first Gen crx is about the same if you put a
K motor in a CRX so I suggest sell your 84 CRX and get a 88-91 civic/CRX and go K20a2 then you would truly have some thing different.
