What speed will 2000 ITR tranny with stock 1-5th gears and an ATS final be able to reach with a 9200rpm rev limit? I have heard that the GSR 5th gear installed with the final is too much of a drop when up-shifting.Does this feel to be true?I mean is it like 1-4th are "move outta my way I'm gonna Chit my self" and then GSR 5th is like "parties over"?

 

basicaly 1-4 will feel much better, and 5th will feel a little better than stock.

at 9200rpm you will be around 140-150mph with stock itr 5th
with gsr 5th probably 160 or so.

I have the ATS w/ GSR 5th.. and I am rolling on 195/50R15 tires.

Revs are at 5100 or so at 90mph.

Only thing I don't like is, it's a big drop in rpm when shifting from redline 4th into GSR 5th. Not enough to fall out of VTEC, but enough not to keep the same "pull" that is had from 1st through 4th.
