Default Exhaust Muffler,

Hi, Ive just upgraded my wheels on my new hatch, and im looking into a new back box, or a muffler. Bearing in mind im looking for a cheap upgrade primarily. As you know the exhaust backbox in the civic runs parallell to the back tyres could i fit http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayI...&rd=1
one of them to my exhaust to at least make it look better, id really appreciate help on this.

Cheers

Thats gonna look stupid on your car..
You'll prolly have to angle it to make it fit..
Its going to have bad ground clearance..
And its just a muffler so all it will do is make you're car sound like a fart can..

Just save up some money and buy a full exhaust made for your car..
I hate canisters ..I prefer the oem look muffler with the tip coming out of the back like stock..

Thanks for the reply mate, I agree with you to a certain extent, i think that if im going to do it i should do it properly. Theres a place about 14 miles away that makes custom exhausts without a cat converter in them, and i could just replace it with my old exhaust at mot test fime for emmisions. Think that would be a better option??

Cheers

Yeah that would be better....

Check out the pricing first though because if its to expensive then you would be better off buying aftermarket cat-back exhaust made for your car..

I know its hard to get an aftermarket exhaust in scotland but its just a thought..

I think i will go for that then, one of my mates at work got one made for him, and i think it was only £140 for the full exhaust but i could be wrong, plus, i got new coilovers to buy first, could i be able to fit these myself without alot of knowledge about cars??

Cheers
