Default PG7 (88-89 integra) ecu question

I own a 91 crx si basically stock. I'm looking for cheap power upgrades. Does the PG7 (88-89 integra) ecu really add power on the d16a6?? I've heard it's a great upgrade but I'm not sure. Help me out.

i'm running a pg7 on my ef with a z6 swap.... and it does dumps fuel like the exxon valdez....i get 250 miles per tank.... and thats just to work and back.... it does raises ur redline also to 7200rpm.... besides that u can play with ur timing and maybe u can get some umps on the low end....remember tunning is the best.

I had negative results with it on my sohc ZC. It had bolt ons and headwork. Shittier gas mileage and it just didnt feel right. I think PM6 is best with sohc's, especially with stock ones.
