The Yellow Dragon wouldn't start...
The battery was dead after ONLY about 2 months.
Must be that damn Clifford sucking all the juice.
I charged up the battery and took it for a spin this morning to a meeting for work (a meeting that was mandatory and HAPPENED to land on my day off.
).Anyway, it's supposed to get around 50 degrees out today. Most of the snow has melted and it was nice to drive the R. I've had withdrawals. I'm sure I'll hit the 10k miles mark today. I'm at 9939 or something right now.

YD -- I'm at 099, 918 ... or so, and should be breaking the 1/10 tenth of a Million mile mark soon!
Almost ready for boost (damn those emissions inspections).

Yoshi ~ damn...10k came very quickly for j00.
How many miles do you have now?
Ed ~ You're going to boost once you hit 100k?! Whoah...interesting. How is your R running close to 100k? Does it still run near as hard as when you first got yours?

I got mine w/ 28K on it (almost 3 years ago the end of this month).
After all, it is an older one.
Yup, ...boost is on the way, but emissions inspection jeopardy is in the way!!
Also depends on what the compression and leakdown numbers look like, and available $.
I've already got most of the parts (3 turbos sitting @ mY Mom's)
Visited my mechanic's (Ben Schaeffer's) yesterday to discuss these very issues, and saw two or more JRSC'd vehicles there for work (including one unhappy S/C'd Lude, ... wristpin).
Plan is to service the R once again @ 100k (as is), and build one turbo CRX by spring.
It's finally time to bring the parts together and bruise a knuckle or two! (ouch!)

I'm @29,015...bought the car in april w/23,xxx...battery recently took a dump on me though;and also the attenna;...guess not being started after 2months killed my battery...looks like time for a s2000 conversion for the atenna
Mine was dead too.. Decided to go spring for the high perf craftsman 60amp auto charger. When I hooked it up it kinda reminded me of charging the old RC car. FULL CHARGE....time to play. I'm running an Ungo alarm with a supposed battery backup, I think the car will draw off the alarm backup though. I might actually drive the R to work tonight, it's not supposed to get too cold~
Heh. I just hit 10k last weekend. Took me almost 1 year. I didn't start driving it much until 5 months after I got my car. 6 months of break in
You leaving the block alone? Your motor just got broken in @ 100K.
Ben was talking about "freshening it up" (rod and pistons, no doubt) and getting the head done.
The CRXs will be stock motored turbos, though!!
I need to get back to doing my own wrenching (yes - latent wee-todd'r),
and also get some practice w'turbos before inflicting it on my R.
I just broke 14, 000 today.
Its 50 degrees here in Chicago so I figured I would take my baby for a ride. n14k in almost two years, not bad. I just drive so much in the summer

I have 14,700 miles on my car. Plan on putting a few miles on it next year!

I've clocked almost 35,000km in 19 months.
Since my car was an ex-demo that puts it at just under 38,000km on the dial.
Daily driver and lovin' it!

I just clocked 10,001 as I put my Dragon in it's lair tonight.
Oh yeah, and I was challenged by a number of cars tonight and I'm holding true to my NO STREET RACING anymore policy.
I'm going to make a sign so that I can hold it up while I'm next to these fools that reads, "MEET ME AT THE TRACK AND HAVE YOUR *** HANDED TO YOU!"
haha.
