Default mp3 cd player

alrite i have a sony cd player that supposeably plays mp3 cds. i burn one using nero under mp3 mode. put it in the cd player and it doesnt play. is there a special way you are suppose to burn them?

edit: its a Sony CDX-F7705x

when you burn music, you have to burn the music as data.

But with nero, there is a mp3 mode.

With mine I always burn it as a data disk, works fine as long as they are already the right format.

i found out wat the reason was... ****** dick head gave me a F7005x reciever and a F7705x faceplate. *******. no mp3 encoder in it thats why it wouldnt play. im gonna see if i can get an exchange or my money bak.
