brake light and brake problem

a buddy of mine has a 2001 prelude, and recently his brake light has been coming on and off. whilethe brake light is lit he says it almost feels like your driving with the e brake on...anyone got any ideas of what this could be and how to fix it???

if its that i would check the brake fluid level....he might be low and pulled some air somewhere or something.....

fill the master up and then bleed the system....
