Digital Camera users! check in
Hey all,
Me and the little lady just picked up a new Digi Camera. its our first real digi i guess you could say. our previous was some Fuji one that was 1.3 Megapix from like '98.
we just got this one:

We arnt in the market for a "high end" camera but this one wa rated pretty well and was their top of the line camera for the money. also its a canon, so i felt safe there. just wondering what thoughts you had on the camera, as well as where to buy accessories at a good price (ie. Tripod and a case etc.)
and if you have any tips for a novice photographer!

can't go wrong with Canon.. i have a Canon Powershot Pro 1 8 megapixle with a 3 piece high resolution filter set... that's a good camera that you bought, i know some people who have it.. it's a good camera for the price..... Canon =
a friend of mine just picked up one of those, im not sure if its the same model...but its a powershot.
they are great little cameras from what ive seen, but deffinitly try the thread posted above! a few people in there have powershots and have nothing but good to say about them!
also, hit up the member BoostedJeff, he has the cam and seems to be very good with it!

the SD500 and SD300 were two of the cameras I was looking at when looking for a tiny one... but I chose the Casio Exilim Ex-Z50 just becuase I got it for pretty cheap.
the Canons seemed like pretty nice cameras though!
