Default 4th gen SI to VTEC?

I know its possible to vtec a 4th gen SI, but how much does it cost...and what kind of parts do i need? Will I get anywhere near the 190 hp that the stock 4th gen vtec puts out? Is it just a matter of replacing the cams and putting in a VTEC controller? I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth doing.
thanks
