88 CRX Sunroof weld
ok i have an 88 crx and it was stolen by the sunroof beig broken off... now i have decided to just get the top welded closed. you know just making it look like there was never a sunroof to begin with... where would i go about doing this around here in socal? and about how much does that run? anyone?
I would think it would be easier to take the whole roof off and replace it with a new roof from a dx/hf. You can drill the spot welds off right under the "rain gutters" (dont know if that is the correct term for them).

also you can use fusor or any other type of metal bonding to glue the roff back on.just make sure the surfaces are grinded down properly to make sure it bonds. oh and make sure you have plenty of clamps to hold it down or some small(not sure what size) sheet metal screws.

Yes they are called rain gutters and this is the best way to do it.
