Manual ecu into an automatic.....
Will running a 5spd ecu in an automatic equipped car cause any problems? I assume there should be a code or two, but anything that will cause drivability problems? The car in question is a 5th gen civic. I'm putting in a D16Z6, but keeping it auto for now, until I have more time to convert it. Will running the auto DX ecu be OK until I find an auto P28? TIA.
