Default Installing KYB AGX. Need Torque Specs

Hey,

Tomorrow I'll be putting together my KYB AGX's and H&R sport springs. Just one quick question. What do I torque the top bolt down to?

Thanks,

George

Bump guys. I know you torque the omnipower coilovers to 40 ft/lbs. What about kyb's and h&r's. I need a definitive answer by tomorrow!!! Help me out.

What top nut? The one the goes on the shock piston of the ones that hold the hat to the chassis?

Why not just torque them to factory specs?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by litterbox &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Bump guys. that top nut on the omni's is a 19mm nut so there was no torque spec in the instructions. per the instructions, all 14mm nuts go to 30 ft/lb and 17mm nuts go to 40 ft/lb. just tighten the top nut down pretty good, maybe a turn past snug. the weight of the car is on it so i dont see a need to torque it to anything past 50

I'll double check helms and go by factory specs, or just do what Deviant said.

Thanks for all your help.
