Default Glad I kept my Civic, lol

I was thinking about selling my 03 Civic since I recently bought an Rx7 but I just picked up an engine for the Rx7 about 400 miles away (LA to Frisco) and I got like 42 mpg. Then I had to pick up a clutch all the way in Vegas and made it there and back in one tank with gas to spare. Damn, I'll just keep this car...saves me so much $$ in gas. Even though it's just a DX it pays for itself if I keep it as my daily driver and my Rx7 for weekends or fun. My Rx7 gets like 15mpg on 91. Thanks for listening to my enthusiam for my low-horsepower DX.

Good choice keeping the Civic
Youll never know what could go wrong with Rotaries
Its hard to find Engine techs too
and if you do there would most likely be a waiting list

You can build an entire FC (second gen) RX7 with LS1 for under $7000. So keep your FD rotary cause that car is a legend and will be very valuable in the future. Plus it's so unique.

But when you find a NA second gen RX7 with an auto transmission sitting in someones front yard for free, pick it up and swap the LS1 cause I've personally drivenn one of these cars and it doesn't get any better! Surgical handling and gobs of torque. Not to mention 25+ mpg out of a 350hp V8!

Ok, tech info is you can fit a shortblock rotary engine in the trunk of a Civic coupe with room to spare. You can probably fit two rotary engines in there and close the trunk w/o having to fold the rear seats down. So you don't need a truck if you're picking up a rotary engine for whatever reason, just put some rags in the trunk to help keep things clean back there... oh and the trunk mat will cave in and get all messed up.
