Default 1990 accord stock rims?

My wife wants some stock rims for her 1990 accord. She has some 17" right now, but she doesn't like having o pay $100 each time one goes flat. Which unfortunately happens often with her. So I wanna get her something stock size so I can get the 17's for my CRX. What are the stock size for a 1990? How much do they go for? Does anyone have any pix?

What did you search for? This answer is all over the place.

The steelies are 14" 114.5 x 4.

Ok. More specifically, what years can I get them off of. I ask so when I go around the junkyards, I have an idea what to look for. Thanx.

Have you searched at all? I remember when I needed a rim from a junkyard...I did a few quick searches and I found my answer. Searching is a lot faster than sitting here waiting for the right person to be online...

90-01 accords, any that are 4 lug since they all use the 4x114.3 pattern.

Some of the older preludes use 4x114.3 (4th gen ludes) I think 90-95 ludes.

I have noticed a trend in the short time I've been here at honda-tech. 90% of the people that have responded are so prissy. I guess I'll just use honda-tech as a search engine of sorts and if I can't find my answer, I'll not post and go about my business. And I had heard such good things about this place too. Oh well.

You're supposed to and expected to search before you post a thread. We shouldn't have to look the answer up for you if it's been covered so many times. Honestly, if you leave, it wouldn't be a huge problem since we'd have less people to spoonfeed.

You know what, maybe you're right. So how exactly am I supposed to search? Maybe I'm not looking right.

I went to the search area and input accord stock rims, accord stock wheels, 1990 accord stock, 1990 accord stock rims, 1990 accord stock wheels, stock rims, stock wheels, and stock. I read through all the hits it brought up and I didn't see the answer. What did I do wrong?

No it's just the fact that most of the threads I found (by searching under archived threads under wheel size) that most of the threads were in regards to bigger or non-oem wheels. Your question is valid and instead of telling you to search he/people should provide a link (even per the accord rules)...I searched for a link and couldn't find one for you so instead I answered your question as best I could; it's not that hard.

Hope it helps.

Directed at me? Don't really care. Take away my percentage points, it's the Internet.

To the original poster, you probably were searching "Recent content". Switch to "Archived" and I bet you'll find some threads.

1 - Amazing how you could spend all that time to prove a point but not to help someone out. Sad.

2 - Most of the posts were regarding a different year than my question. And since I don't know which years goes together for Accords, it would've proven useless.

3 - And more importantly. I am looking for the size, NOT bolt pattern and if you go back and pay attention none of the posts mention anything about sizes. In my original question I'm talking about size and the fact that my wife's rims are 17's.

I am so done with you, bro. You can waste your time just to prove you're right, but can't just help someone out. You know what. You're the man. You rule. And I'm sorry for crossing your path. All hail the great Justin Timber....oops.....Justin Klemgold. Please forgive me, oh great one.

No if it was directed at you I would have said so...but honestly how hard is it to give him links instead of telling him to search 2-3 times. *shrug*

I understand the fact that there are a lot of resurfaced questions but just simply telling people to search doesn't help anyone and it's not really contributing to the thread.

I just went through all of 'em again. They all have the lug patterns, but nothing about 14's or 15's. Get your eyes checked.

I run across cheap 15"-14" wheels for my 90 all the time. I will keep an eye out and PM you if I find some more.

I am using my Stock Steelies for autox.

This information should be in that Basic accord thread pinned at the top of the forum...because, well it's very basic information that can be found pretty easily on the internet IMO.
