head gasket or water pump?
theres antifreeze coming leakin to the floor. and it seems to be coming from the timing belt area. would this be a bad head gasket or a bad water pump. im thinkin its the head gasket but few people told me otherwise.
any help?
any help?
Check your oil for coolant, check to see if white smoke is coming from exhaust. If not most likely if coming from timing belt area its a bad waterpump seal.

coolant doesnt always end up in the oil.
and it sounds like the waterpump has gone bad, or the seal has.

i couldnt see any anti freeze in the oil.
but it looked like theres some oil in the radiator.
so its either the water pump or water pump gasket.
thanks you guys the ****** best!

What if you got the little leak from timing area, white smoke, and no oil in coolant, and no coolant in oil?

Would this cause white smoke to come out of the tailpipe? (a lot of smoke)

naw really if your exhaust smells like coolant than your head gasket is fucked. pull your plugs see if they have coolant on them and is your car styarting to overheat

If you just recently took the head off the block then there is a chance some oil got into the coolant gallies like what happened to my car. If not then I would think it was a bad headgasket because oil doesn't just end up in your radiator unless you pour it in there or your headgasket is effed.

and to the originator of this post u might as well change the timing belt and the water pump since u are going to need to replace the head gasket
