practice your driving skills, attending some schools. Other than that there's only one other way and that's to make more power or lighten the car and common sense will tell you what you need to do to accomplish that.

Go the Sport Compact Car way. Get a saw-all and just start cutting. Cut the roof off, bumpers, take the hood off, just start cutting.

Hopefully, when you are all done, you will go 2 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile.

and hopefully you didnt cut the wrong thing and have the car fall apart

 

also just remove your pws, belt, a/c belt,just not your alt. belt, and you feel a little diff.

I concur 100%. If you don't turbo/supercharge/nos you would have to spend ALOT of time and money to get the econobox oh nevermind.

Man that was a GREAT article! Didn't they chop up a Sentra and end up shaving 2-3 seconds off the quarter? All for free!


Anyways, if you don't have cash, there are ghetto mods you can do, but the best and cheapest way to make your car quicker is to lose excess weight. Take out the back seat, remove carpet and insulation, take out your shoelaces, shave your head. Replace Glass with Lexan, body with carbon. Light=quick.
