It's a std with dx bumpers..

DX and STD models have the same intake manifold..Only difference is the restrictor plate in the std ....Thats why the std has 70hp and the dx has 90hp..

Also the std is a 4psd manual..And the dx has either 5spd or auto..

STD models and DX models both have DPFI d15 engines(Dual point fuel injection)..Which means it only has 2 injectors for 4 cylinders which means it has good gas mileage but absolutely horrible performance,,,

Only the civic/crx SI and EX sedan(only available in 90-91) sedan have mpfi d16a6 engines..Multi point fuel injection..Which means it has 4 injectors and is better for performance,,

If you get a 88-91 dx/std/lx the only way to get a beneficial power gain is to convert to mpfi....

CRX HF ('88-'91) also had MPFI.

But yeah, that definitely looks like an STD model Civic. Vinyl seats, plain rubber boot around the shifterm, no rear wiper, etc., all point to the basest, bottom-of-the-line stripper model.

Great as a lightweight racecar project; not so great as a daily driver.

Lowball 'em. A lot.
