91 dx hatch question
I thought the 4-speed came on the "Std" model Civic. It's a trim level below the DX. I had an '84 Civic Std hatchback with a 1.3L and a 4-speed. No A/C, no radio, vinyl seats, no rear wiper...
I thought they still offered that model in the '88-'91 generation as well. I know there ARE some 4-speed 4G Civics around, and from what I've seen the DX was a 5-speed or an automatic.

No .."dx" models have either 5spd or auto..
Only "std" models have a 4spd manual..
They have a dpfi d15b?? with 70hp..They have 70hp compared to the dx 90hp because the restrictor plate on the throttle body..
And the 88 std I had came with a/c....It was originally a Florida car so that explains the a/c,,It was a $2000 option..So remember that before you rippin it out..
