First, get a box to put all your tools in. Get one with a hard top so you can use it as a work bench also. (If thats what you think youll need)
Then just read what adictionbass posted. Pretty good start. While your at it - get the cordless battery powered impact gun. That thing is way handy!

hey whats goin on buddy i go to your school as well. First things first, DO NOT GO TO A HONDA DEALER IN RI! I worked at one and they are all a bunch of ******* i ended up quitting and i love hondas with all my heart. Second thing is that you have to get the mag from the snap on guy to see what your options are because we do not get access to every tool snap on makes especially their digital ones and we have a 10k limit. Other than that all i have to say is keep an eye out for me ill be driving the phantom grey four foor with fat fives. Good luck in school and maybe ill see you in one of my classes
Snap on doesnt open their cataloge to you. You have certain sets that you can buy. http://snapon.com/student/, on the left are the sets that you can pick from. Matco and mac let you choose whatever you want but limit you to how much you can spend and you cant buy 2 of the same thing.

if hes going to be a honda tech, you get a good use out of em doin trannys on the odysseys. Mostly on the steering column. I couldnt image taking that out without em. And trust me, you do alot of them... For the regular person, probably not that helpful tho
damn, dude...with a discount like that, you'll only be paying about 75% more than a Craftsman. Now, if they will start putting a Snap-on store in every mall and town, you'll be able to exchange them as easily as a Craftsman when they break.
Yeah, I know...Snap-on has the truck...that's what you're paying for, when you pay so much for tools, is delivery service.

It also may be that people think the more they pay, the more something's worth. Just look at tool boxes...and the price of a Kennedy box. They are nice, but there are boxes just as nice for half the money.

not at all. snap-ons tools are better than craftsman hands down. If they weren't why wouldnt everyone use craftsman? All snapon tools are made with a cold metal and stamped into their figure thus making the medal stronger than craftsman because they heat the metal expanding the molecules and it weakens it. w00t

****, i completly left out pliers and vice grips. o well. The thing with the locking mechanism on the box is very very important. Im going to go ahead ad say that most big shops (dealerships and such) are not flat. They normally lean one way or the other. Like both sides lean into the center like a v, for drains and whatnot.
I personally do not like boxes where the handle locks the drawer. They seam cheap. Look at boxes where its almost like a hump that the bearings go over to lock it in place. Someone else can explain it better than i can. Ive blabbed on too much.
