Default D16 ZC SOHC VTEC Potentials?

I'm deciding over a shitload of motors for a swap. At first i wanted the d15b but then i wanted D16 ZC SOHC VTEC. I'm just wondering, What's the potential of this engine capable of handling horsepower at peak performance? Can it get up to 200-340 hp range?

There have been some stock block 300whp z6's, but its very rare. There are alot more people under 250hp. If you want the cheapest route to 300whp a LS-T might savor your HP needs a little better. Ive had both Z6-t and LS-T. I like the LS-T more obivously. You can check out turbod16.com for some of the potential for this engine. I think this is the best SOHC swap you can do for an EF because of the $/hp... You can get these for cheap and can convert to obd1 for about $500.

d16z6 longblock obd1 = $300
obd1 p28 ecu = $100
Boomslang or Evasive harness = Less than $100

and you get 126hp and capability of buying a cheap used Greddy kit for like $1000.
