ok, i have a 91 civic that is converted to mpfi then converted to obd1. i am getting code 22. i have checked and triple checked the wiring. and the grounds.
i also went to the salvage yard and got to vtec oil pressure switches. but the switches i got are from a honda accord. is there any differance between them or did i buy the rare chance get 2 bad switches?
and it can't be oil pressure, i took the sensor off and started the car and oil blew across the yard about 50 ft.
please help.

Have you confirmed that the blue wire goes to D6 on your ecu harness/conversion harness. Then the black wire goes to ground on the pressure switch.

i guess.....you made the harness/. lol
i know that the black w/ blue stripe is going to the blue wire and the black wire is grounded at the thermostat housing.

where does it go?.. Its not rocket science. Make sure you have a wire going from the pressure switch to d6. colour dosent matter.

rocket science....i bought the harness off of him....i can not get rid of code 22
i have tried 2 other vtec oil pressure switches

What colors are on the pressure switch? Normally it is blue and black. The blue needs to go to the D6 pinout on the OBD1 side. The black needs to be grounded. I am not refering to the subharness wire colors.
