This Saturday Jan 8 at G-Force Karts in Richmond, VA will be the annual, end of the year banquet for NASA Mid Atlantic (formerly NASA-Virginia). We sent out a mass e-mail a while back to members but I thought I might mention it here.
There is karting from 3:15-7, with the overall winner receiving a free HPDE or race weekend. The cost is $50 and that includes dinner. You can come for dinner and drinks only at 7PM for $18. After dinner, trophies will be presented for a variety of race classes and for several special awards (Rookie of the Year, Perserverance Award, etc.). Championship trophies have already been awarded by ECHC, but you are still welcome to attend!
We will all probably head to Capital Ale in downtown Richmond after the banquet.
