I dunno looks too much like that daihatsu thing. The rear end where the window tear drop back is ugly. I dunno know about the rear doors. Looks like they are going to do the suicide door thing like the RX-8. No door handles on the rear door.

took the words right out of my mouth...i think it looks terrible..but seems like it will have nice power..i wonder how much it is going to weigh..(probably going to be a tank)..

 

the lanos wasnt a bad lookin car, well at least i thought so.

No thanks! That front end is way to short and the rear end looks pretty awful as well. Man who are they designing these cars for anymore? They lost me on the last civic SI. I know the Civic is still the economical Honda to own but the look is not distinctive at all. BTW suicide doors are not fresh on any car. Oh well even Honda can make mistakes.

As an aside can anyone picture slicks on this thing?

 

It is just another example of how Honda ruined the civic. Starting in 01 the styling was ok but everything around it is a POS. Cavalier suspension, Trans. shift cables that don't last a year, alternators, a/c compressors, P/S pumps you name it...it's all junk! Sales are really going well for the EP3...LOL! I am not bashing Honda but to work for them for years and to see them make a cheap POS and actually have the price go up really makes me sick. I'll take an EF anyday.

 

They are in the business of selling cars and when Honda and Acura both post record sales and the bulk of new car buyers love the looks, why would they change? I'm sure everyone would just like a nice lightweight K-powered hatch but with the 02-05 SI that's the best your going to get. Emission laws and new safety standards are not going to let them build a 2200lb hatch like before so they build the next best thing with the EP and nobody buys it. I like the new Civic and chances care when it comes out I may look at buying one.

The looks are fine it's what's underneath.

it sure in the hell does. the one they have out now is ugly. its about time. honda needs to do something.

 

someon photoshop it with some big slicks on eh front and a drag wing and a 1 piece... then well see how we like it...
