I was recently reading an old article about trying to make an all wheel drive Teg with crv parts, and I got to wondering if any garage had ever tried custom mounting an NSX motor inside the shell of an EG and creating a rear wheel drive EG. Has it been done or tried? And by whom?

Honda tuning magazine did the 4-wheel drive Teg w/ CRV parts.
Also did a NSX-powered CRX I believe.
Send them a letter asking for back-issues, I'm sure they'd send it for a price.

 

It's been done, in HCI I think. It was a drag car.

 

yes, there was a shop in so-cal that did an nsx in the back of a 90 crx si. i saw a vid of it about a year ago and it was badass, it was red and it was all hand fabbed, total into the conv was like 20 grand or something, but i believe it went 11.0 untuned, someone correct me if im wrong or if someone knows more about this car. if your talking about trying to squeeze it in the fron af an eg, good luck dude, thats all i can say.
