Default HID conversion replacement

I know the HID conversion kit lights are expensive and not everyone would spent that much on the kit itself, so is there any lights bulbs that would give the blue effect of HID but doesn't cost as much? Say a . . PIAA PLASMA SPARK BLUE HB4/9006 BULBS would do?

they go for about 70-90 dollars a paiR!

If you can still find any around...CATZ made a Zeta headlight voltage box that gives the saem effect as an HID kit to regular or aftermarket bulbs on stock housings.

how much do those piaa go for anyhow, i just went with straight HID's, i heard that when you use those bulbs they can fry your harness, thats oneof the reason why i went straight to hid's.
