Dreading smog, any tips for passing Test only this New Year?
Can I pass at the Test Only joint?
92 cx w/
2nd Gen B16.
No mods (unless you wanna count intake)
1 Year old cat.
New Plugs, Fresh Oil, and Full tank of 91
If I fail and have to go to a what we call "Guaranteed Pass" guy (God they are pricey!), will it be reported that I failed first and draw suspicion?
I need your tips, and horror stories.

most ppl charge more if u already have a rejected sticker, more paper work to go thru
If your SURE its gonna fail, just go pay for the sticker w/o goin to attempt to pass
But by the looks of it, i think youll pass.
is there visable smoge?
Cuz then they wont even put the test pipe in.
But if not, dump some of that gauranteed to pass **** in ur tank.. it decreases NOx CO and all kinds of **** that will help u pass. like 7.99 at any auto store. Best part, if u fail for emissions, u send them a copy of the papers and u get ur money back.
Wish ya luck

I'm in luck there. I work at a car dealer so we're gonna throw it on the dyno after work for pretest for sure. I may even do an induction service demo on it to help in any little way I can.
I really liked "do what works" though, cause that's what it always comes down to.
