Default a question: Swpping from D16Y7 to D16Y8

I searched, no pertinent info.

I have a 00 Civic Dx hatch. I wanted to know if I could buy a D16y8 SOHC VTEC from a 99 or 00 and also buy the tranny, and have it go right in. I will have the ECU and engine wiring harness, but will the axles be the same? I think that is only thing I am unsure about when it comes to switching to this motor. Thanks.

If the engine is complete and the wiring harness is complete, it will drop right in. Axles are the same.
