How much cheaper would it be if only the front seats are redone?

Thanks, I've got a '99 LX and plan on keeping this car for my son to drive when he turns 16, which is another 9 years away.

a good quote of getting cloth seats re-upholstered to leather go between 900 (labor inclusive) and 1400. Ive come to find that the only real difference between the floor and ceiling price are the place you go to, and the one which advertises their products as Genuine Honda leather, but ive never heard of a cow named Honda.

I've seen complete sets of OEM leather seats show up on ebay, most of the time they sell for 300-500, plus the insane 250 charged for shipping... Not worth it to me, but others are really into the leather seats.

i dont know, see, the ebay route could potentially cost you upward of 750 dollars, i think i would rather find myself an upholsterer and have them do the work...you might pay 250 more but you dont have to worry about shipping, you can pick and choose from so many swatches, stuff like that, takes the hassle out...and it doesnt take them long to do it...

Yeah, I would also go the upholsterer route... There is one nice company in my town where a friend of mine works, excellent work and their leather seats look great. Sometimes they buy the fabric or leather straight from the factory then install it themselves (I was told anyways). If I wanted leather, I'd definately go to them.

Not to jack the thread but what about reupholstering cloth interior... How much would that cost me to do in a different color... something simple such as black and grey?

Where are you getting that done and for how much? Reason I'm asking is I'm thinking of doing the same thing for my front seats.
