hey, question for any of you JDM front end swap guys...

I am wondering, if i were to get the parts, in the same manner you guys have...

then i wanted to get them put on the car, have the work done...

can you guys tell me, from experience, how much money a good labor job on that would cost me?

thanks in advance.

I did it myself, it took about 5-6 hours, not too hard at all, just need a drill, and some patience.

you can do it yourself. took me bout 4 hours and that was doing the whole rad support, not just the t-bar way plus welding it together. paint, just depends how nice of a job you want.

The front end conversion that I am going to order from http://www.jdmland.com has these following parts included...

The JDM front end comes complete with headlights, radiator support, bumper, fenders, bumper support, hood, and grill.

What else will I need to go buy other than what is listed...Anyone ever bought from these guys and know what all they leave out? Thanks alot!

for the radiator support, yes. But there is a thread that shows you don't have to completely remove the USDM support and weld on the JDM one. Do a search

If you do the half support, you can bolt it on, you just drill out the spot welds, and put bolts/washers where the holes are.

you dont have to weld it at all. just do the upper t portion and use bolts. you can later choose to have the upper rad support spot welded on. its not a hard task at all. you can buy special drill bits for 15 bucks or so that help and make drilling out the spot welds alot easier.

i dont even think you'll need all that stuff.. you'll find stuff that works when you remove the stock stuff..you dont need to weld either. i'm looking for a link, when i find it i'll let you know.. it saved me a ton of cash when i got mine done.

you need the top half of the radiator support. it is removed by drilling out the spot welds.

you need the jdm rad support. you dont need the jdm bumper reinforcement, but you do need the jdm bumper support.

if you use your us reinforcement bar you have to mod it to fit the jdm bumper supprt and you also have to put 2 little notches in the jdm bumper.
