Hi! It rained today and was using my rear wiper. I noticed that the wiper doesn't completely wipe the glass with the whole blade. The end/tip of the blade doesn't seem to be touching the glass. I dismatled the whole thing trying to figure out what may have been causing this but didn't see anything wrong. If there was more pressure on the blade towards the glass, it would work as its suppose to. . . . . . my question is, do you guys thing I just need a new arm?
Thanks!
Thanks!
The springs on the wiper blade must be put in backwards.
Try to remove both and inspect. No need to replace the arm. If the springs are too straight, try to bend the outer part so it contours the curve of the glass.

When you say springs, do you mean the metal pieces/strips that go into the rubber blade? There is only one spring and thats the one that allows you to bend the blade 90 deg. to clean the glass.
i would try replacing the blade 1st. sounds like the blade isn't making good contact with the window. next, i would try replacing the wiper arm. the new spring would help to apply more pressure on the blade
