To be NA or to be Boosted?
I was so set on going NA (well, plus some nitrous) for a while, but haven't been getting too many offers on my turbo kit. I bought the turbo kit because I had a heavy Integra but traded for a '92 Civic hatch. Here are the setups if I decide one way or the other.
NA:
B18C block, ls crank/rods
Wiseco high compression pistons
Arp rod bolts/head studs
B16 head, Jun3 cams
Itr intake manifold with NX direct port (125 shot with progressive controller)
-nitrous will only be used when testing 1/4 mile times at track.
reasons: less of a thief magnet. No intercooler or bov to entice them bastards.
- fun with less cluttered engine bay. Too many people around here are turbo, but then again, that just means there is a reason for that.
Turbo:
Ls longblock.
Log manifold, precison sc32 turbo, spearco fmic, blah blah.
reasons: it's damn fast. It's a thrill riding in a fast turbo car. Not exactly sure why I'm so against turboing the car. this is the 3rd turbo setup that I've bought but haven't installed. Thought 3 times is a charm but maybe it's just not meant to be.
I would like inputs form some people that have had some decent NA or FI setups. It would be nice to hear from someone that has experiences with both. Also, include pros/cons if possible. Thanks.

turbo is fun but it has been convered before, there is no turbo set-up as reliable as an all motor set-up. push a boosted motor to redline all day everyday and an all motor set-up to redline all day everyday and see which one lasts longer. its preference and money. what do you want? like?
personally im blown and i love it

yeah like sohcMONSTER said before, it's based on personal preference. i think for a daily driver i would go with the turbo because you save gas. however i do love my built ls/vtec that burns oil
