Night and day difference between the SR3s (every other market 'cept NA and I believe that's the model) and SRDs. But the SRDs (the $595 ones) will fit "larger" people a bit better.

They are the speed and the NEW seat from Recaro that is meant to fill the gap of tall and lanky people since the only seats available that fit them are non adjustable (Torino and SRD WAY to wide Bride's WAY to short). I sat in one today and it fit me PERFECT. I'm 32 waist and 6'4" though. There is a HUGE diff from the speed to the SRD. The Speed (I've sat in both) is MUCH more firmly bolstered (as it was not an OE seat that had go through OE ***** up the seat BS). Secondly the speed has an optional built in submarine belt hole. The SRD actually costs LESS, by $60 than the Speed. Third and MOST importand and OFTEN neglected. The SRD built for Honda was not only heavier but MUCH shorter than the Speed. The JDM SRD is built for shorter average height asian people's and will not fit most american's as well. The SRD from Recaro is TOTALLY diff than the JDM ITR SRD which was A: shorter B: had more weight and C: was done in Alcantara not Avus.
BTW Avus is very grippy like alcantara but not as soft and comfortable as OE alcantara. Yet the actual fabric weigh's less.
In summary. If you are under 5'10" and skinny go with the JDM ITR SRD's. If you are a lanky *** tall bastard like me get the italian designed model, the Speed Avus. If you are one of the more.... well nourished US males go for the SRD or Torino since we seem to be comparing adjustables. From what I've found the only adjustable that really fits the tall lanky bill is the Speed.
Here is some more info on the speed.

Why pay a hundred more for red???
PLUS the thread was started to clarify the costs of the black seats anyways.

i own a pair of those speeds, theyre a great seat. Very nice bolstering, im a 33 waist and have a decently large chest and i fit fine in them. I had a chance to compare my seats with a friend whos seats are the jdm recaros, and i must say i liked mine a lot better.
