I just changed my oil last week and the only thing i did different this time was, I tried a bosch oil filter. But now when my car is warmed up and i come to a stoplight or put it in neutral, the rpms go up to 2500 and drop down to .5 or 1000. and it jus keeps goin up and down till i put it in gear and go. any ideas or experience with this problem anyone?

 

Probably a vacuum leak. Could also be the FITV.

 

I just looked at it. I t was vac leak. I was tryin to change the oil filter from up top. I drove from wisconsin to kentucky like that and back again.
