Default Suspension Crisis!

My friend wanted me to put her stock springs into her lowered '00 Prelude SH for the winter. The only problem was, the stockers weren't labled front and rear, so I had to guess. Does anyone know what is ACTUALLY correct? The springs are damn near the same height, one is wound tighter than the other, but has a larger diameter wire.

I put the thicker ones in the front, but now something in the rear rattles on bumps. I replaced all four shocks, too. Don't know what it could be. Please assist.

The tighter wound coils should be in the front. The wider spaced springs should be in the back. To make sure. Try to compress the spring by yourself. The softer ones go in the back and the tighter ones go in the front.

The weird thing is that the tighter wound ones have a thicker wire than the wide-spaced ones.

Before I put them in, I pushed down on the springs, too, but couldn't tell a difference.

Are you 100% sure the skinnier-but-wider spaced coils go in front?
