Default The man behind the mojo, the story and introduction of itr#xxxxlives

does anybody know what happens when an itr is totaled and is auctions off when it is only 3000 miles young?

well this is me and this is my car, it is the prodigy of 00 itr#xxxx

im sure it is one of the very very very few times you will see a type r hatchback that everything is legit

here is a short photo album of the faggity fox

edit: i forgot to upload pictues of the engine bay tonight so you do not get to see the mugen hotness under the hood, but the mugen exhaust is connected to a mugen header

car also sits h&r full coilovers which makes the car handle like a dream,

the 5lug brakes and stainless steel lines make this car stop on a dime too,

i cannot wait to take the car to do some autoX, ever since i got a ticket on the backroads in the sticks where i live i dont even speed anymore let alone drive the car hard, i barely get a chance to hit vtec but i usualy try 2 or 3times a day

the rings are going out, the car burns oil pretty good so i am planning to rebuild the motor with some toda b's, a toda belt, some itb's, and i have not decided what to do about compression and tuning,

what do you guys think of 00itr#xxxxxlives?

the gas lid was put on becaus the car was only tracked by the origional owner and i guess he though it was necesary, it limits the gas stations i can go to, but all in all the lid is starting to grow on me

Yeah, hot!

How would you like to represent Oregan at the Integra Type R Expo? You can meet up with a few others driving from Washington!

the newer gas nozzles with thick boots around the nozzle do not fit all the way into the tank, it is hard to explain,

i just have to go to this gas station that has older pumps so i can jamb the thing threw the door...

Thanks for those pictures! i have been looking for them for along time now, the car was advetized on ebay and wherever else the guy put it up, those pictures were in the prime years, it had omp harness's and a harness bar, along with flawless paint, now it has some wear(ex. when the hood flew up )

i do not have the full story on the r but what i have found out thre the vins is the car was wrecked in october 00 with less than 3000 miles, there has been zero activity with the title since then

when i put my aluminum radiator in this past weekend i noticed one of the fans on the R was smashed a little bit, so there was some frontal damage along with whatever caused the car to be un repairible

:edit, the car was wrecked in october 00 not 2004

Not wild about the gas lid but everything else ...

And good job on the folding mirrors. Maybe it's just me but I never like the mirrors we (US) got on the EK/EMs.

Looks real good. The 99-00 hatchbacks in black will never get old on Gunmetal ITR wheels.
