Hopefully this is in the right forum.
I have an 89 Civic and I want to convert it to 5-bolt. I've heard many different opinions on how to go about this. I've searched and found nothing but alot of maybes.
What I got so far is that the rear trailing arms will fit using my civic's lower and upper control arms. The parking brake cables would have to be the ones from the 90-91 CRX si.
Now the front is where it's puzzling me. Some say to use the complete assembly including the front knuckles and others say to get 91 4-door EX knuckles and get the type r spindles machined to fit in the 91 EX bearings??????
WHICH TO USE?
Does anyone have any detailed info on this setup? Which brake booster and master should I use, the type r stuff wont fit perfect, I'll have to drill correct???
In advance thanks guys.

yea, and the last thing a honda needs in front is *less* suspension travel. the ex knuckels are slightly harder to find, but check out http://www.car-part.com for them.
does anyone know what exactly is the differance between the ex and all the other 4g civic knuckles?
